May - The Month of Our Lady: This beautiful month; with blossoms, flowers and magnificence of colour is dedicated to our Blessed Lady. St Bernadette of Lourdes said “nothing down here can compare to the beauty which I have seen”. The natural beauty of spring and summer is a reflection of the beauty of the Creator. Also in the book of Acts our Blessed Lady is seen in the midst of the Apostles and early Christians praying for the gift of the Holy Spirit. In the same way we follow the example of Mary, Mother of the Lord in praying for the graces that each of us need.

Rosary - Sundays at 4.30pm: during the month of May.

May Crowning & Processions: Next Sunday (13th), after the Latin Mass, there will be a shared lunch in the club. At 2pm, Our Lady’s Statue will be crowned & we will have our procession with the Rosary, Litany & devotions will conclude with Vespers.
On Tuesday 22nd 10am Marian Procession, international Rosary & Crowning at St Bernadette’s

Thursday - Feast of the Ascension of Our Lord The Bishops of England & Wales have decided that we should go back to the traditional idea of celebrating the Ascension on the 40th day after Easter.  Therefore this Thursday is a Holy Day of Obligation and there will be an extra Mass in addition to the usual Thursday.

Volunteer Needed to Take Over from Ann Holder: For many years, Ann has taken charge of many different jobs within the parish including producing the reader’s rota on a quarterly basis and administration of the APF Missio Box Scheme.  However, as she is now Lay Chaplain at Brixton Prison, she would like to be able to hand ‘the baton’ onto someone else so we are looking for a volunteer /volunteers to take over the reins.  If you would like to help us please speak to one of the priests.
