4th Sunday of Easter / (Old Rite) III Sunday after Easter

Changes to Masses this Week
Monday 23rd
9am Mass will be slightly earlier at 8.45am

Congratulations: Three children of our Latin Mass community today make their First Holy Communion:
  • Dominic Windsor
  • Matthew Quail
  • Leo Linton
Please pray for them and their families on this very special day.

Pray for Vocations: at St Bede’s we are uniquely lucky to have a lot of priests and sisters but elsewhere throughout the land they are an “endangered species”.  Today is Good Shepherd Sunday and our Sisters have asked us to think and pray imaginatively for vocations.  Any ideas?

New Data Protection Legislation: As you may all be aware there is some new data protection legislation coming into force on 25th May, which is going to impact on all of us.  One of the responsibilities we will now have to undertake is to know who has access to the vast amount of personal information we hold in the parish.  A number of you currently volunteer for the parish or may have done so in the past and may have some personal information at your home in a file and/or on a PC or laptop.  Please, could you let either fr Christopher or fr Przemek know by next weekend if this applies to you so that we can let you know what actions you will need to take going forward.  The Archbishop is encouraging all of us to help implement these changes and we thank you in advance for your co-operation.

Evangelium Conference: takes places on 17th – 19th August this year.  More details and booking information to follow in the next couple of weeks.
