Welcome to Behruz Rafat: Like Fr Christopher, Fr Behruz spent his earliest years in Iran being baptised in the Dominican Church of St Abraham’s. Later back here in England, he attended Bishop Thomas Grant School. After Hull University he trained for the priesthood at St John’s Seminary, Wonersh and is currently parish priest of Paddock Wood, near Tunbridge Wells in Kent. He grew up in nearby Norbury where his grandparents, the Mackesy’s were pillars of St Bart’s.
Fr Pawel will swap with Fr Behruz on Saturday and Fr Lukasz will swap on Sunday.

Last Vespers & Benediction: tonight at 5pm.

Fr Pawel: is here today for his last Sunday before he heads off to Poland to see his parents for Christmas and will be back, God willing, on January 3rd.

Fr Andrew: will return to St Bede’s on Monday evening and will be our Christmas preacher.

Christmas Eve Latin Mass Music: As in previous years, David Guest and his wonderful singers will be here to sing for the Latin Christmas Eve Mass.

St Bede's Youth Club: last one until the new year tonight after 6pm Mass

Christmas Offerings: In the porch & around the sides of the Church are the envelopes for your Christmas Offerings for our 3 priests. As you are aware, a priest does not get a salary as such, & relies on the Collections at Christmas & Easter, as a significant source of income. These 2 collections are the only ones that are for the priests of the parish. Please be generous as your means will allow. If you normally give via Standing Order through the bank, please put your Gift Aid number on the envelope. If you don’t have it, contact Marie Chang who will be able to tell you.

New Years Eve: 10.30pm Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament; 11.30pm Confessions & Solemn Te Deum and Benediction followed by Sung Midnight Mass.

Bazaar Result: The new to-date total is £12,645 (there is still some money to come in and go out) and the usual breakdown of the totals by stall will be available in the New Year. Last night the Latin Americans presented the priests with the money raised by their bingo held on the 26th November and their dinner last Saturday which has raised £2500!! Well done and thank you to everyone who helped make this years bazaar such a success.

Cleaners for this week: Saba Tekle, Nebiyat Zereome & Alem Araya Zemichael.

Volunteers to run Repository on Sundays:  We need some people to sell repository items in between the 9.30 and 11am Masses. If you would be willing to volunteer your time, please speak to one of the priests today.

Parish Diaries: Our diaries have arrived and are on sale at the back of Church at a cost of £1.50 each. Unfortunately we don't have our Diocesan Directories as yet (problem with delivery) - hopefully we will have before the New Year.
