28th Sunday of Ordinary Time (Old Rite: XXI Sunday after Pentecost)

Month of the Holy Rosary: Do you remember the sermon from last week about the power of the Rosary? Please don’t forget to pray the Rosary and teach your children how to pray it. Padre Pio said that he never had a grace refused which he asked Our Lady when he prayed her Rosary.

Bazaar - Friday 25th & Saturday 26th November 2016: Each year we have to pay our “tax” to the Diocese which is now over £16,000. This contributes towards the Schools Commission & the running of our enormous Diocese which covers almost 200 parishes & over 100 schools from Richmond to Dover. We try to get as close to this amount as we can, making about 75%. Please start to bring in bottles of wine/spirits; homemade jams & chutneys, cake making ingredients (flour, sugars, mixed fruit etc), Jewellery, DVD’s and fancy goods. We only want GOOD QUALITY items (no jumble!!) to avoid the time consuming misery of sorting through the rubbish for binning! We need volunteers to hand out & collect Grand Draw tickets.

Goodbye to Fr Michael Rowe: who leaves us on Wednesday to return to Australia.

Change to the Latin Mass on Tuesday 11th: There will be no Latin Mass at 7am, instead Mass will be at 7pm with confession before from 6.30pm.  It will be a sung Mass.
