4th Sunday of Easter (Old Rite: III Sunday after Easter)

For this week's Masses - Click Here
Solemn Easter Vespers: 5pm Sundays until 15 May

Goodbye to Fr Andrawes Farag: A big thanks to Abouna (Father) Andrawes for his devotion and service to this parish since Advent. Not only does he have to grapple with a foreign language but he has also had to learn how to say Mass in a completely different Rite. He leaves us Saturday night and will return to Minya which is in the heart of Egypt if you look at your map. We are privileged to have had a member of the Coptic Catholic Church and we promise to remember him in our prayers.

Queen Elizabeth II: On Thursday, Queen Elizabeth II celebrates her 90th birthday (that’s the last time Fr CB complains about the late age that PP have to wait to retire!) May God bless her and on Thursday morning our first Mass will be for her.

Congratulations: Two children of our Latin Mass community today make their First Holy Communion:  Peter Windsor, son of Jim & Geraldine and Martin Windsor, son of Tom & Vreni. Please pray for them and their families on this very special day. We also congratulate their proud grandparents – John & Jane Windsor.

Congratulations:
to Matheus Vila Real and Teresa Hellyer who were married in Plymouth last Saturday. Fr CB was in attendance as was Ashford Clovis who helped with the serving. The newly-weds are honeymooning in Rome and hope to meet up with Fr Andrew Southwell.

Welcome to Fr Lukasz:
Fr Pawel: is in Lourdes this weekend for his first pilgrimage. He should meet Fr Nicholas du Chaxel who is now the MC for the Shrine

We apologise: for the long wait some of your Mass intentions are taking – some of the Masses are so oversubscribed at present that the intentions exceed the Masses we have – but we will get there eventually and thank you for your patience.  Where possible we will attempt to get Masses in on the dates requested but it will not always be possible (for example 8th May we have 4 people all requested one Mass time).  These are the latest dates and outstanding numbers.
