29th Sunday OT (Old Rite: XXI Sunday after Pentecost)

October - Month of the Holy Rosary: The Rosary is one of the simplest prayers to say.  One can say it anytime and anywhere.  It may be easy to say but it has a huge depth.  Often it is difficult for us to concentrate but let us try to say it with love.  With the five decades we can have five different intentions and Heaven knows how we must pray for peace, the Synod and for all our own families.

Bazaar - Friday 27th & Saturday 28th November: Don’t forget to put the date in your diaries and come along to the next meeting this Friday (23rd). Each year we set ourselves the challenge to raise the money needed for our annual payment to the Diocese, and we need YOUR help & support. Donations of GOOD QUALITY items please - fancy goods; religious articles; drinks for the bottle stall and raffle prizes; homemade crafts, jams & chutneys.  When out shopping why not think of us when you see the ‘Buy-one-get-one-free’ offers – it won’t cost you anything but helps us and our schools.  We do not want electrical items, jumble, videos or books!

Easyfundraising - the Online Portal for shopping: Don’t forget that you can easily earn donations toward St Bede’s by using the Easyfundraising portal when you do online shopping – at no extra cost to you!!! If you have your own business and order products online, for example stationery why not raise funds for us at the same time on your business purchases. Thinking about booking next years holiday? – there are several airlines, i.e. British Airways, Virgin Atlantic, Monarch & Flybe; holiday package companies - Thomas Cook, Cosmos and booking agents - Ebookers, Expedia & lastminute.com registered on the site. Do you get your grocery shopping online? – Sainsbury’s, Asda, Tesco, Waitrose & Ocado are on there too. Fancy going to a West End show – you can book your tickets there. Why not have a look on the site today – www.easyfundraising.org.uk/stbedesc The portal can be used all year around – not just for Christmas.

Estate Agent Boards: This is the last weekend that Chris Brew-Graves can add your name to the list for the Patrick Henry Estate Agency boards.  If you own your home and would like to display one of these boards to help advertise our bazaar – please contact Chris at cbrewg@gmail.com.  Boards go up 28 days before and must be taken down no later than 2 weeks after.
