Feast of Christ the King (Old Rite: XXIV & Last Sunday after Epiphany)

November - Month of Holy Souls.

Annual Bazaar (Fri 28th / Sat 29th Nov): This week!!!
Draw Tickets: are available, please don’t forget to return the counterfoils and money – in a sealed envelope as soon as possible.
Bottle Stall: Please bring in bottles of wine, spirits and soft drinks. This wonderful stall is always popular and helps the atmosphere and the takings of the Bazaar as a whole.  How about donating your ‘Buy-One-Get-One-Free’ offers that you may be getting with your supermarket shop!
Please bring in: Good-as-new toys, DVDs & CDs, fancy goods, Religious articles, your handmade goods and jams by Wednesday.
Cakes: Please sign the cake list and make a cake for the Friday and/or Saturday.
Heavies Needed for Thurs/Fri/Sat/Sun!  We need strong men for the following days and times this week to help with the setting up tables etc: Thursday 7.30pm; Friday 4pm; Saturday 4pm and Sunday 10.30am.  Last year we were almost crippled by the work on the Friday afternoon so we appeal to our teenage boys to come and help.
Bazaar Dinner: If you would like to book your place for the Dinner on the Saturday evening, please see Fr Christopher B or Fr Simon £25.  Copies of the menus are on the available at the back of Church.
Family Bistro: The menus for the Family Bistro are now available at the back of Church.  Please take one home and bring it back by Wednesday in a sealed envelope with the money.
Tombola:  This is a very successful stall on Friday nights but we need more items to be able to continue to have it on Saturdays - so we need your donations for this too!  See Nicky G
The Bazaar depends on your support!

BAGS2THEFUTURE: We collected half a ton(!) of clothes & raised £204 towards the Bazaar.  This has now finished.  No more please!!

Welcome (again) to Fr Michael Holman SJ: of Heythrop College.

I look forward to next weekend's visit, not just because of the Christmas Fayre, but also to help you in making the right preparations for Christmas - putting more love, compassion, prayer into your life, and also a heart open to welcome God's healing forgiveness. Fr Michael Creech C.Ss.R.
