All Saints Day (Old Rite: XXI Sunday after Pentecost)

November - Month of Holy Souls. Poppies are for sale in the porch and tomorrow we have 10 Masses in different languages (one in Portguese at 8.15am, just before school).  Show your devotion for your beloved dead by remembering them tomorrow and in your own Masses offered for their souls.

Annual Bazaar (Fri 28th / Sat 29th Nov): Less than 4 weeks to go …
Bags 2 the future: All bags should be returned to us by Tuesday 4th November.  The collection will be made on Wednesday from 9am
Draw Tickets: are available, please take some home; sell them to friends and family and then return the counterfoils and money in a sealed envelope as soon as possible.
Please bring in your GOOD items: bottles, jams, good-as-new toys, fancy goods, Religious articles, DVD’s, CD’s and your handmade goods.  We do not want electrical items, jumble, videos or books please.  When out shopping why not think of us when you see the ‘Buy-one-get-one-free’ offers – it won’t cost you anything but can help us to raise those extra funds.
Tombola:  This is a very successful stall on Friday nights but we need more items to be able to continue to have it on Saturdays - so we need your donations for this too!  See Nicky G
Lucky Dip prizes needed: If you have some nice little good-as-new toys or knick-knacks that children would love, please bring them in!  See Fr CB or Harman Ross

First Communion & Confirmation 2015: Application forms are available after the Masses from fr CB. Applicants should be a parishioner of St Bede’s who usually attend Mass here.  First Communion Applicants are normally in Year 3 and Confirmation applicants should be in at least Year 8.  We will be sending out the letters next week so make sure you get those last applications in this weekend.

Adult Baptism / Reception: if you are an adult who would like to think about being received into the Catholic Church for Easter, please contact one of the priests.

Annual Blessing of Graves at Streatham Park Cemetery, Rowan Road, 3pm sharp.  From the main gate, proceed along the path ahead; at the end, turn left.  We meet about half way along on the right hand side, beside the new tombs.  Please come prepared for wet weather and slippery conditions underfoot.  Priests will be available afterwards to bless individual graves.  Please not that darkness falls quickly and the cemetery will close at 4pm, so this activity may need to be curtailed.  Also, our priests will need time to return to their parishes for evening Mass.
