15th Sunday OT (Old Rite: V Sunday after Pentecost)

End of School: On Friday our schools will break up for the summer holidays and there will be a huge quiet all over the parish and neighbourhood. At this time I would like sincerely to thank all the staff for their hard work and hope they all get some real time to relax. Our pupils too need to have a break. Don’t forget the FAITH Summer Break which is held from the 11th to 14th August in Woldingham for 11 to 15 year olds. Then there is also the Servers Summertime which takes place on 12th - 15th August especially for Altar Servers. These two youth conferences are great fun and our youth at St Bede’s have always represented us every summer.
We would like to congratulate The Laurels School which has, last Friday, completed its first year of operation. We have loved having them in the Church every Tuesday for Mass and Confessions and at this moment they are building a Chapel onsite. Next year we hope to have an Altar at their place for the Annual Corpus Christi procession. To all staff and pupils of our four schools we wish you all a good summer holiday! Fr Christopher B.

Welcome to Fr Jose Ramon Villobas: who is staying with us for a month. He is from Huesca, Spain.

Sea Sunday - 2nd Collection: Today we celebrate Sea Sunday when the Church prays for all those you live and work at sea.
