4th Sunday of Easter (Old Rite: III Sunday after Easter)

FR CHRISTOPHER EHIDIAMHEN: After three years here, Fr Christopher E is leaving us on 30th April and returning to Nigeria for a few months before starting his next placement along the Oregon Trail near the Idaho border in America.  His hopes to escape cold winters have come to nought!   We want to thank Fr CE for being with us for his three year sabbatical (this was after 10 years as one of the two spiritual directors in the major seminary in Ibadan which has hundreds of seminarians).  Today we have a special Mass at 12.30 followed by a shared lunch in the school hall.  Fr CE will be with us next Sunday and will finally leave the Tuesday afternoon, April 30th.

WELCOME BACK TO FR MICHAL MATYSIK: who is passing through briefly: flying in from Zambia on Thursday night and off to Poland to see his parents on Saturday.

FR MAREK KALETA: is happily settled in Aberdeenshire at the top of Scotland and promises us a visit in the near future.  Pray for all our old missionaries!

JIM MCCARTHY RIP: on Thursday, Jim’s body will be received into the Church at the 12.30 Mass, which will be offered for the happy repose of his soul. His body will be flown back home to Ireland for his funeral.
