BAZAAR: Thank you to everyone who helped make sure this years Bazaar was another success. Congratulations especially to the Latin American community who raised £2000 this year – almost double last year! The total so far is £10,713.31 - well done! Special thanks to all those who helped sort through all of the donations, made cakes, ran the wide variety of stalls, organised & helped at the Bistro & the Christmas Dinner, all the organisers, the counters behind the scene David & Eunice Wilkins, John Keenan, Harman & Rocco.

FR DAVID STANDLEY: is our Second Advent preacher. Fr David Standley was ordained in Rome in 1967. He has served in various parishes in the Southwark Diocese, the last one being St Vincent de Paul near Lavender Hill. He has been the Chaplain at the Universities of Cambridge & Kent and the communities of L’Arcahe. He is currently the chair of the Diocesan Interfaith network. He has recently retired. Don’t forget to go to Confession as he will be available for all of us this weekend.
ADVENT PREACHERS: next week Fr Marcus Holden from Ramsgate is our Advent preacher & the following weekend we are very proud to be welcoming Deacon Tom Lynch. He is to be ordained next Saturday at Wonersh & is returning home to St Bede’s to preach the last weekend. For the Christmas Masses we have a preacher from Rome – someone you know: Fr Andrew Southwell!
