Trinity Sunday

QUEEN ELIZABETH II REIGNING SINCE 1952! This weekend all over the country and the Commonwealth nations around the world, we celebrate the Diamond Jubilee of our Queen.  Our constitutional monarchy may be a survivor from an earlier age but its role has evolved and today it is a way to ensure a good democratic process.  The Prime Minster is Head of Government; the Queen is Head of State and Head of Established Church of England.  She is above any party political sector and is an icon representing the nation itself.  We thank God for her exemplary example and how she has kept away from controversy and passing style.  Most of all through her weekly attendance at Church and annual Christmas address, she consistently witnesses to the worship of God, through his Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ.
